BioI am Terin.
Here are a couple things you should know about me.
1.) I always expect the Spanish Inquisition.
2.) My father is allergic to cats.
3.) I am not currently nor have I ever been a Communist (unless you count that one time back in eighth grade...)
4.) I am a fan of the Latin language. (Lingua Romani possidet te!)
5.) My favorite number is "pi". My second favorite number is "e".
6.) My nemesis of the numerical world is the number "i".
7.) My favorite Roman emperor is Marcus Aurelius.
8.) I can say the word "lizard" in English, Russian, and German (but I make no guarantees for the correct pronunciation of the latter two).
9.) I have 5 siblings.
10.) I read history books for fun.
11.) I listen to Gregorian chant.
12.) I use words like "conversely" and "indubitably" in casual conversation.
13.) I do not like asparagus.
14.) I have never witnessed an alien abduction.
15.) I like ice cream.
16.) I am always trying to write a novel. (But I am seldom writing the same novel from month to month...)
17.) Me + Internet = BOOM
18.) My favorite books number in the 100s.
19.) The nearest estimate of my eyesight is 20/2800 (to be more clear, I can't even see the big "E" on the eye chart).
20.) When I was in third grade, I used to test myself for telekinetic abilities. Nothing really happened until the day I sat under the AC unit in math class and saw my pencil roll across the desk.
21.) My English professor shares her last name with an elite task force of the previous Iraqi government.
22.) I one day intend to visit: Transylvania (so I can get the corny T-shirts), the foot of Mt. Everest (just so I can say that I "climbed" the mountain...never mind the fact that the "climbing" will amount to all of five steps), Istanbul/Constantinople (because it's a city with character), Vladimir Ilyich Lenin's mausoleum in the Red Square (just so I can see if the body has decomposed or not), and Jerusalem.
23.) My favorite viruses (as in the ones I find fascinatingly creepiest) are: Ebola (both Zaire and Sudan), the Spanish Flu epidemic of World War I, Marburg, and the Bubonic Plague.
24.) I like to invent new words and use them in sentences like they're real. (Shakespeare did the same, you know.)
